How about this for cool… an R2-D2 Webcam that you can remotely control from anywhere. This thing can be controlled through the internet view web controls, or locally with a lightsaber remote that also doubles as VOIP phone.
Do you have the webcam on the desk, well it has a surface sensor that prevents it from falling when being controlled remotely. It is a limited edition so if its a must have, check out nikkor2d2.com!
Also from Nikko, the R2-D2 DVD projector. This thing is awesome. Its a total entertainment system built into a remote controlled R2-D2. Built in DVD player, inputs for your Wii, XBox 360, and PS3. It is after all a hi-def projector. Multi-positioning for viewing on any wall, contrast ratio of 1800:1, and optical digital output for 5.1 surround sound. Wanna create a slideshow of pictures from your camera? Use the S-Video input. Or use the USB slot for a flash drive or multi-card slot to show pictures, music or video. The remote is modeled after the one and only Millennium Falcon. And best of all it has original R2-D2 sounds.
Like many many others, my copy of Madden 2009 for Playstation 3 has been freezing. Typically when I am in my second game, sometime mid-game. I have been reading a lot about this problem online and have determined that it is a problem for many gamers on both PS3 and Xbox 360. Once guy actually spoke about older versions of the game causing the same problem on his original XBox. Well EA has not release a patch to fix this problem as of yet, but we are eagerly awaiting that day because its extremely frustrating when you have played a long tough game and fought back to take the lead and the game freezes.
Needless to say I was pretty upset when it first happened because I have heard rumors of the PS3 locking up and I wasn’t about to have that happen to mine. Thankfully its just the game and not the console. Other than that problem, I highly recommend Madden 09 to everyone.
List your complaints below and lets see what we can get EA to do about this problem.
Guitar Hero has become huge in the console genres. First Aerosmith graced the cover a entire game and now Ozzy is going to be apart of the next version, Guitar Hero: World Tour. Ozzy is one of the largest influences on hard rock and heavy metal and having him lend his talents to Guitar Hero is a huge step in the series. What’s next? Check out the video from Gametrailers.com!!!
In other news, Metallica’s drummer Lars Ulrich joked in a recent interview about the possibility of a Guitar Hero: Metallica. What would that be like?
The Call of Duty series is back after an award winning Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, with Call of Duty: World at War. Not much has been released in details yet, but it appears to be set in either the Korean War Japan or Vietnam. Is this a good move for the CoD series. After the much praised Modern Warfare, most people expected a follow-up in the same era. I am curious to see how this will play out in the minds of gamers around the world. It is to be released on the XBox 360, PS3, and PC on an as yet unreleased date.
Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think.
Gametrailers.com has just released their official review of the XBox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 and it looks great. With a hefty $60 price tag to coincide, it looks to be the first game that deserves that kind of cash. I plan to buy it the second it comes out on April 29th(tomorrow). I won’t spoil all the details, here is Gametrailers video review.
