GTA IV Freezes

There have been numerous discussions around issues with the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 freezing at different points. Take-Two Interactive nor Rockstar Entertainment have not released official statements regarding the issue, however Sony has.

“Yes, we are aware of what the message boards and a few of the industry blogs are saying about a ‘freezing’ issue with GTA IV on a limited number of PS3s.

Although we have seen an extremely low volume of contacts to our customer service department regarding such an issue, we want to ensure that every consumer has a great experience on our console and with GTA IV. All parties involved are working to isolate the problem for those few units and identify a solution.“

There hasn’t been any official fixes released from any of the aforementioned companies but I located this list of recommendations on au.gamespot.com.

GTA IV Official Review

Gametrailers.com has just released their official review of the XBox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 4 and it looks great. With a hefty $60 price tag to coincide, it looks to be the first game that deserves that kind of cash. I plan to buy it the second it comes out on April 29th(tomorrow). I won’t spoil all the details, here is Gametrailers video review.
